Man of La Manchera

He was a man of La Manchera, who had lived a lonely life
A Rich Man but an Older Man, till he took himself a wife
And he knew just how he wanted her, as they walked along the shore
And she swore undying passion, as the waves began to roar

They lived high on a hillside, between the sea and sun
And his young bride fanned aflame in him, his life had just begun
But the people of Manchera as they visited his home
Whispered soft Manyanas as they saw his brides eyes roam

There came a lonely English Boy, travelling through the land
Who turned to the Contessa. As she brushed against his hand

And the days turned to hours, as he lifted her veil
The boy turned to man , as he fell in her spell
The Man of La Manchera came home one early night
His villa all in darkness, the curtains drawn so tight

Upon a lonely hillside, near Manchera Town
Two Red Roses grow alone, nothing else around
And the Man of La Manchera lives a lonely life

A rich man but a older man, who lives without a wife
